Casual modern living on the Willamette.
When our clients bought their 1988 West Linn home, they loved the river views, but the kitchen layout blocked them. The dining room felt too small to dine in, yet too big to ignore, and the entry lacked a coat closet. As avid cooks, they needed a more functional plan. Working closely with the Mountainwood Homes team, they reimagined the layout to open up the space, add storage, and finally enjoy the view they fell in love with.

For such a great location, the kitchen seemed like an afterthought. We had to get creative in order to make the space make sense, without totally reworking the footprint.
