Jocelyn Harris

Growing up, Jocelyn Harris loved watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and still holds onto his message to “look for the helpers.” It’s fitting since that’s what she’s spent her 25+ year career doing—helping teams stay organized, on track, and on budget.

As the Bookkeeper at Mountainwood Homes, Jocelyn has a strong background in financial operations and job costing. She started at a small, family-run business, then moved to a large electrical contractor, and later into service and project management in the automatic door industry. Her experience across residential and commercial projects has given her a deep understanding of tracking expenses, aligning budgets, and supporting financial decisions throughout each phase of construction.

Jocelyn was drawn to Mountainwood because of her love for home improvement and the creative remodeling process. She thrives on her role’s variety—no two days are ever the same. From tracking expenses and managing job costs to assisting with project management software, Jocelyn helps keep finances organized and the business running smoothly. Bookkeeping feels like a daily puzzle she loves to solve.

Known for being efficient, reliable, and thorough, Jocelyn attributes her success to strong problem-solving skills, time management, and being a true team player. She enjoys working closely with project managers, designers, and trade partners to support cost control and ensure everything is accounted for with a good purchase order.

Outside of work, you’ll find Jocelyn spending time with her husband, three daughters, and grandkids—camping, swimming, cooking, and baking together. She looks forward to their annual camping trip to Timothy Lake and never turns down a good jigsaw puzzle or card game.
