Greg Nelson

Greg Nelson is the Director of Project Development at Mountainwood Homes, where he brings his leadership skills, industry expertise, and enthusiasm to the home remodeling process. Known for his optimism and energy, Greg guides clients through every step, helping them achieve a design they love at a price that fits their budget.

Before joining Mountainwood, Greg enjoyed a successful career as a Sales Director and Regional Business Leader in the pharmaceutical industry. His work took him across the country, but when it was time for a new chapter, he embraced the opportunity to stay closer to home and pivot to the construction industry he’d always been interested in.

Greg takes pride in Mountainwood’s detailed and collaborative process.

“There are so many details that have to be coordinated behind the scenes,” he said. “Most clients have no idea how much time is being spent on their projects to make their dreams a reality. It even surprises me at times.”

Greg enjoys working with clients who appreciate the unique qualities of a design/build company.

“They value our expertise in every aspect of the process,” he added.

Outside of work, Greg thrives in the outdoors, enjoying activities like training horses, fishing, and hunting. He stays energized by staying active and productive, often retreating to his “fish shack” in Astoria, Oregon. At home in Cornelius, he cherishes time with his wife of over 30 years, their three daughters, and their son.
