Cindy Bauer

Born and raised in Portland, Cindy brings heart, humor, and reliability to everything she does. As the Sales & Design Administrator and Mountainwood’s unofficial “Assistant to All,” her role has evolved over the years, and she loves being part of a team that truly feels like family.

With a career spanning several industries, Cindy brings a wealth of experience and perspective to her role. She spent 13 years at Tektronix straight out of high school, soldering circuit boards while listening to soap operas on the radio. From there, she moved into the mortgage industry, then spent over a decade at a downtown law firm. Each chapter taught her something new, but it wasn’t until she entered the remodeling world that she truly felt at home. “It’s the right fit for me; I can’t imagine being anywhere else,” she says. “Even though I have no formal training, I feel that I have a natural knack for it. I had no clue what went into doing a remodel.”

Cindy’s dependable, good-humored nature makes her an invaluable team player. She credits her success to being flexible, open-minded, and always ready to help. What keeps her going? “Seeing the before and after of our remodels, and all the friends I have gained here.”

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, improving her home, watching great movies and shows, and enjoying time with family and friends. A lifelong animal lover, Cindy once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or opening an animal sanctuary. Her bucket list includes traveling to Europe, Scotland, and Santorini. If she won the lottery, she’d build a custom home, treat her family, and support animal rescues.
