Anna Berrios

Anna always wanted to be an architect. With a background in interior design and a passion for the technical side of the process, she loves turning ideas into buildable plans.

After earning her BFA in Interior Design in 2011, Anna spent seven years as an interior designer before transitioning into freelance drafting for architects and designers. She joined Mountainwood Homes as a part-time drafter, quickly proved herself to be an essential part of the team and moved into a full-time role. Today, she focuses on architectural design and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education in the field.

At Mountainwood, Anna prepares construction drawings for engineering and permitting. She describes her role as the “Master of Lines That Actually Get Built.” Her attention to detail, focus, time management, and organization make her a valuable asset to her team, clients, and trade partners.

Her favorite part of the job? The challenge. She enjoys solving problems and collaborating with her teammates to find practical, buildable solutions. Among her unique skills are fluency in AutoCAD, sarcasm, and construction site banter.

Anna stays active and creative outside of work with hobbies like crafting, gardening, hiking, kayaking, and constantly learning something new. She shares her home with her husband, Pedro, their dog, Ginger, and cat, Perseus. Her favorite escape? The Oregon Coast—Seaside when she’s in the mood for people, or Pacific City when she’s craving peace and quiet.
